My Resume

Professional Info

Five years ago, I began copywriting for a few clients. At the time, I was just taking word-of-mouth clients and learning as I went. I was asked to write drama scripts, radio ads, and web copy. And well. . .things developed from there.

In addition, I was working eight hours a week as a writer and editor for a print magazine called The Global Baptist Times with a circulation of 5,000. I wrote ads and articles for the magazine, and I became fascinated with the art of copywriting. Here was something that combined my love of creating and marketing. I won't bore you with details on the projects, but I loved working on them (you can check out my writing samples to get a peek at some of them).

I've shared only the past five years with you here, but if you'd like to know what I've been up to before that, I'd be happy to send you my full resume.

  • Currently writing a regular column.

  • Edited booklets (both developmental and line editing).

  • Wrote ads, ad headlines, and articles.

  • Conceptualized design ideas for print ads and worked with graphic designer to implement them in copywriting and copyediting.

  • Provided content strategies for marketing ads.
